"Honestly felt super unwelcome"
I don’t know if it was just a bad day, but wow, the staff really did not come across as friendly at all. I felt rushed the whole time, barely acknowledged, and like I was bothering them just by being there. It made the whole experience feel so awkward and uncomfortable

"Boat ride was okay, boarding was a mess"
We went sometime in early July, or maybe it was late June, I can’t remember exactly, but the boat ride itself was totally fine once we were actually on it. The problem was getting there. The boarding line moved painfully slow, and nobody really explained what was happening. People kept cutting in, and the staff didn’t seem all that bothered by it. We showed up early, thinking that would help, but we still ended up standing around forever in a packed area. It was stressful, especially with kids, because everything felt really unorganized. For a place that gets this many visitors, they definitely need a better system for boarding.

"Not a clean bathroom situation"
I stopped in the bathrooms were filthy. It just didn’t feel like it had been checked in a while, and that kind of set the tone for the whole visit.

"Refund process was such a headache"
I tried to get a refund and it turned into a mess. Support wasn’t helpful at all, and I kept feeling like I was going to be stuck losing money for something I wasn’t happy with. Still no refund, just a lot of frustration.

"Felt a bit like a bait and switch"
I thought the views of the falls were going to be way better based on how it was described. Once we got on the boat, it was packed, and everyone was basically blocking each other the whole time. Most of my photos ended up being the backs of people’s heads and rain ponchos. It also felt really rushed, so I didn’t get much time to actually enjoy it. Kind of felt like a bait and switch compared to what I expected. I left disappointed and wouldn’t say it was worth it for me.

The crew came across as rude and rushed us the whole time. It felt like they weren’t listening or even paying attention to us, and they didn’t seem to care much about our experience.

"Mixed experience, but the support really put me off"
I’m a bit frustrated because part of me wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the customer service made that hard. The responses felt rude and not very helpful, and I was left more confused than when I started. Maybe others have had better luck, but based on my experience, I wouldn’t want to deal with their support again...

"Couldn’t Even Buy Tickets Without a Hassle"
I tried to buy tickets the whole process was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. It wasn’t easy to navigate, and after running into issues just trying to complete a basic purchase, it definitely made me lose some trust in the site. If buying tickets is already this difficult, it makes me wonder what the rest of the experience would be like

"Good ride, but the waiting was frustrating"
The ride itself was actually fine and we enjoyed it once we finally got on. But the schedule was kind of a mess. We showed up on time and still ended up waiting way longer than we expected, with barely any updates from the staff. It threw off the rest of our plans afterward, which was annoying... For a place this popular, I just figured the timing would be handled a little better.

I tried booking tickets through maidofthemist.com, it was more annoying than I expected. The pages were loading slowly, and I had to put my info in more than once, which got frustrating fast.
I’m not sure if it was my browser or the site itself, but something about it just felt clunky. The checkout also wasn’t super clear before paying, and for such a popular attraction, I really thought the whole process would be smoother...

The ride itself was really nice and I’m glad I went on it, but the line took forever and felt unorganized. I kept wishing there were clearer signs or someone giving updates, just so I knew we were in the right place and how much longer it might be. A little more reassurance while waiting would’ve made the whole experience a lot better

"The ride itself was alright, but…"
The ride itself was alright, but taking photos was way harder than I expected. There was so much mist and it was crowded, so most of my pictures ended up blurry or wet. I also got transferred around when I tried to ask about better photo spots, which was annoying and didn’t really help. I just expected there to be better places to take pictures.

"Left Me Unsure About Booking"
I tried booking through maidofthemist.com, but I got kind of confused during the process. The pages didn’t feel very clear to me, especially when it came to entering my payment info. Maybe everything is totally fine, but I wasn’t sure what was happening or if my information was being handled securely. It made me nervous enough that I ended up backing out before finishing the order. Just not really what I expected.

"Not exactly the peaceful boat ride I had in mind"
I was really looking forward to getting out on the water and taking in the falls, but once we boarded, it was clear it was going to be a different kind of experience. The boat was packed, and unless you managed to squeeze into a spot along the edge, there wasn’t much to see. A lot of people were pushing around trying to get photos, and the staff looked like they were just trying to keep up. The falls themselves are incredible, of course, but with that many people crammed together, it was hard to enjoy the moment.

The boat ride felt like it was over before it even really started. We spent more time waiting around than actually being on the tour. For what it costs, I really thought we’d get more time near the falls. Disappointing, to be honest.

"I knew there was a chance we’d…"
I knew there was a chance we’d get splashed, but this was so much more than I was expecting. My poncho barely helped, and my shoes were soaked for the rest of the day, which made everything way more stressful than it needed to be. I spent the whole time worrying about wet socks and being uncomfortable instead of just enjoying myself. I really wish they made it clearer how drenched you can actually get.

"Poncho was thin and useless"
Not gonna lie, the ride itself was fine, but the poncho they gave us was awful. It was super thin and ripped near the arm before we even got fully soaked. Water came through really easily, so my clothes ended up wet anyway. I get that it’s a boat tour and you’re probably going to get splashed, but the poncho should at least last through one trip. Disappointing.

"Really frustrating booking experience!!!"
I tried booking tickets on maidofthemist.com, and wow, it was way more annoying than it should’ve been!!! I use a screen reader, and some of the buttons weren’t labeled properly, so I had no idea what I was clicking half the time!!! The date picker was also super confusing and not easy to navigate at all. I ended up having to ask someone else to help me finish the booking, which was really frustrating!!! Definitely not a great experience for accessibility!!!
